From a religious perspective, the fact that over 800 million people lack access to modern forms of energy - thereby suffering severe consequences - is just plain wrong.

That’s why The Shine Campaign is inviting you to join our next community convening, on 2 December at 9:30 AM EST. Our interactive call, entitled “Religions Rising,” will feature spiritual and faith leaders from India and Africa who are providing vital leadership on clean energy access at the grassroots level.

You’ll hear from Mr. LH Manjunath of the Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, Rosemary Terry Njoki of the Don Bosco Vocational Training Center, Irene Musimeta of Medical Teams International, Andrea Johnson of Green Empowerment and Rev. Jenny Phillips of the United Methodist Church.

Moderated by Rev. Fletcher Harper of The Shine Campaign and GreenFaith, the discussion with these leaders will describe the urgent needs of communities in India and Africa and how they are addressing them.
